Botanical Description
Inflorescence
Perennial herbaceous chamephite 25-60 cm high. Forms stolons , which, taking root, form new rosettes ( vegetative propagation ). The stems branch weakly. Leaves are flat, whole or slightly pointed.
The inflorescence is a spherical head with a diameter of 2.5-3 cm, consists of blue-purple flowers . Sepals are not pubescent.
Distribution and habitat
The bug is a perennial native to the Mediterranean . It grows on nitrogen- poor, slightly alkaline or moderately acidic soils along roads or on hillsides.
Economic Significance and Application
Perennial bug has been grown as an ornamental plant for rocky gardens.
