At the 2004 World Junior Championships , he took 7th place in the 5000 meters race with a result of 13.40.77. At the 2010 Frankfurt Marathon , he finished 10th, showing a result of 2: 10.43. He took 7th place at the 2011 Paris Marathon - 2: 08.22.
As a pacemaker, he participated in the Tokyo Marathon in 2011.
