SKIF is a Russian women's basketball club from Moscow , based on the basis of the SKIF sports club ( Moscow , Semenovsky Lane , 15). The best achievement of the team is the 8th place in the Russian championship of the 2001/02 season , a participant in the Ronchetti Cup in the 1999/2000 season. The club president was Sergey Kolotnev .

History
The history of the team developed very rapidly, in the first season it takes 1st place in Division “B” of the Major League (3rd ranking tournament), the next year ( 1999/2000 ) it takes 2nd place in Division “A” »Major League and gets the right to speak in the elite Russian division. Also this season, SKIF claimed to participate in the Ronchetti Cup , for the first time a Russian club from the 2nd division participated in it, however, the team performed unsuccessfully: 4 games - 4 losses.
In the very first season of the Super League ( 2000/01 ), the team made a splash, taking 8th place among 18 teams. The next season in the elite ( 2001/02 ), the last one, became the sunset of the team. SKIF could have generally taken 13th place, but in the last round the club did not arrive in Chelyabinsk to play with Slavyanka , and by decision of the Directorate of RBF, the team was counted with technical losses, as well as the award of the last, 19th place in the final table . In that season, the club was still remembered as a kind of record, it played home games at 4 (!) Different venues: the gymnasium SDYUSSHOR Trinta, USK CSKA , HSS Druzhba , SK Brateevo. There were cases when, when paired matches with Dynamo (Moscow) and Vologda-Chevakata , a series of 2 games had to be held in different gyms.
For the 2002/03 season, the team did not show up.
