Kivira on an infrared map of Titan
Kivira ( lat.Quivira ) -A bright albedo detail on the surface of Titan , Saturn's largest moon . Located near the equator; the coordinates of the center are [1] Located between the dark regions of Fensal and Aztlan . From the south, the dark plain of Chusuk protrudes into Kivira; near the southwestern part there is a bright spot known as the Cotzul shark .
Kivira was discovered in images taken by the Cassini-Huygens spacecraft. Named after the legendary city of Kivira in the southwest of America [1] (see Seven Golden Cities ). The name was approved by the International Astronomical Union in 2006 [1] .
