It is located on the left (northern) bank of the Udray River (Big Udray) , 10 km west of the city of Novosokolniki . On the contrary, on the opposite (right) bank of Udraj , there is the village of Zarechye .
The population of the village as of 2000 was 203 people [1] for 2010 - 201 people.
Until 2005, the village was part of the Mayevsky volost .
