Biography
Hasan Kerimov was born on May 5, 1925 in the village of Karayusifli (now the Barda region of Azerbaijan ) in a peasant family. He worked as a shepherd , then the senior shepherd of the collective farm named after Ordzhonikidze, studied at the institute, achieved high performance in [1] . The shear of wool in his flock was: 1966 - 6.2, 1967 - 6.9, 1968 - 7 kg per sheep. In 1967 he received 152 lamb per 100 ewes.
By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of March 22, 1966, for "achievements in the development of animal husbandry," Gasan Rza oglu Karimov was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Hammer and Sickle Medal [1] . Honored Sheep Breeder of the Azerbaijan SSR (1964). He was awarded three orders of Lenin and a number of medals. He was elected deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of the 7th and 8th convocations [1] .
He lived and worked in his native village. In April 1982, together with an accomplice, he committed the murder of a woman, for which on April 21, 1983 the Supreme Court of the Azerbaijan SSR sentenced him to capital punishment . Shot in 1983 [1] . By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of January 28, 1985, Hasan Kerimov was posthumously deprived of all ranks and awards.
