As stated in the reference to the journals of the Holy Synod of December 29, 1999, “During his ministry, Father Superior Rostislav showed himself exclusively from the negative side. The community received complaints about the rudeness of the rector, his violation of the liturgical charter and the established traditions of the parish. Abbot Rostislav often arbitrarily left the parish and without permission of the Hierarchy stayed in other foreign countries. According to reports from the parish, during his two years in Morocco, Father Superior Rostislav was absent from his ministry for a total of 5 months. In addition, Father Superior Rostislav published a critical article aimed at discrediting the Hierarchy of our Church in the newspaper Russkaya Mysl, published in Paris. ” On December 29, 1999, by the decision of the Holy Synod, he was relieved of his post as rector of the Resurrection Church in the city of Rabat and sent to the disposal of the Archbishop of Kaluga and Borovsky Clement [2] .
