Biography

Born in April 1919 in the city of Vladikavkaz, later the city of Ordzhonikidze of the North Ossetian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, now the city of Vladikavkaz of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, in a working-class family. Russian .

He graduated from 7 classes. Komsomolets, worked as a foreman.

In the Red Army since 1939. He graduated from the courses of junior lieutenants in the Ordzhonikidze Military School; then, in 1943, the improvement courses for officers. On the front - from May 1943. Member of the CPSU (b) / CPSU since 1944.

In 1943, he took part in forcing major water barriers - the Desna , Dnieper , and Pripyat Rivers.

The machine-gun company of the 270th rifle regiment under the command of Senior Lieutenant Nikolai Goncharov on January 14, 1945, in the battles for the village of Makoshin (24 km south-east of Kielce, Poland ), destroyed up to 30 fascists. On the night of January 21, in the battle for the town of Byalachuv (9 km south of Opoczno ), a company broke through to the center of the city, repulsed 5 counterattacks of superior enemy forces and ensured the advancement of the regiment and the capture of the city. February 13 in the battle for sec. Milkau (15 km south of Nova-Sul , Poland) machine gunners destroyed over the company of the Nazis. Personally, the commander, replacing the gunner, destroyed up to 15 fascists.
