In the first official match of the season, the AIK met with the Helsingborg for the Super Bowl of the country . In this game, Robin made his debut for the capital club at the highest Swedish level. 10 minutes before the end of the meeting, he came on as a substitute instead of Robert Oman Persson [4] . At the end of August 2012, the coaching staff of the youth team , led by Hokan Erickson and Tommy Söderberg , invited Quayson to prepare for the decisive qualifying games of the 2013 European Championships with Slovenia and Ukraine [7] . In the match in Maribor, Robin entered the field in the 77th minute, replacing Astrit Aydarevich with a score of 1: 2 in favor of the Slovenes [8] . That match was lost by the Scandinavians, however, they won the match with Ukraine and won first place in the qualifying group, which led them to the play-off matches for the right to go to the final tournament in Israel for their peers from Italy . Both meetings Robin missed, but the Swedes lost twice and did not make it to the European Championship.
