Biography
Yuri Kuznetsov was born on August 24, 1946 in the urban-type settlement Borzya, now the city of Trans-Baikal Territory, into a military family. Russian. Graduated 10 classes.

In 1968 he graduated from the Far Eastern Higher All-Arms Command School named after Marshal of the Soviet Union K. K. Rokossovsky. He was deputy commander, and from March 1981 to June 1982 - commander of the 345th Guards Red Banner Order of Suvorov of the third degree of the paratrooper regiment .
