Lipovo is a settlement in Gusevsky urban district of the Kaliningrad region , as part of the Gusevsky urban settlement. Adjoining from the east to the city of Gusev on the banks of the Red River.

History
For the first time the settlement Kulligkemen was mentioned in 1539, in 1542 there were 36 households in the settlement. In 1938, Kulligkemen was renamed Aldorf. The population of Aldorf in 1939 was 1181 people. In 1946, Aldorf was renamed Lipovo. [3]
