History
Built in the period 1820-1830, the 19th century. Named after the children of Emperor Paul I. He brought a wooden bridge over the moat to the gate and the Intermediate Gate; the bridge was not straight with its knees on the conditions of the defense of the fortress. In 2011, new communications (water supply, power cables) were held through the gates. For this reason, in the summer, the gates were closed for the passage of vehicles for one month [1] . By October 2012, Michael's street is paved with tiles, lighting, an unpaved passageway remains under the gates, a new asphalt, pavement and lighting lie behind the gates on the dam.

There are plans to re-create a part of the wooden bridge from the Intermediate Gate to the Cordegardia, and further with access to the existing road, with the restoration of the adjacent buildings.
