History
On March 9, 1936, Pope Pius XI issued the bull " Praecipuas inter ", which established the Apostolic Vicariate of Thaybin.
On November 24, 1960, Pope John XXIII issued a bullet " Venerabilium Nostrorum ", which transformed the Apostolic Vicariate of Thaibin into a diocese.
