Pentachondra veterinary ( Latin: Pentachondra involucrata ) is a species of flowering plants of the genus Pentachondra ( Pentachondra ) of the Heather family ( Ericaceae ). According to some reports, this species is synonymous with Trochocarpa involucrata F. Muell [1] .

Botanical Description
Species epithet lat. involucrata means "bedspread, wrapper." This name was given for the wrapping bracts located in the whorls below the flower .
Distribution
The natural range of the species is Tasmania .
History
The species was first mentioned in the scientific literature in 1810 by Prodromus Florae Novae Hollandiae of the Scottish botanist Robert Brown [2] .
