Swamp

On October 18, 2012, in the Basmanny Court of Moscow, a hearing was held on the materials of the criminal case initiated on the basis of the NTV film “ Anatomy of Protest-2 ” to determine the measure of restraint. Judge Irina Skuridina sanctioned Lebedev’s arrest for a period of two months. According to investigators, he was the main initiator of meetings with representatives of foreign authorities ( Givi Targamadze ). Lebedev was charged with preparing for the organization of riots . Konstantin Lebedev did not admit his guilt.

On November 7, 2012, Lebedev signed an agreement with the investigation. [2] Otherwise, as Lebedev believed, he was threatened with a ten-year maximum term.

On February 13, 2013, the court replaced the deprivation of liberty with house arrest, as he allegedly no longer has the physical ability to destroy the evidence gathered in the case, or put pressure on possible witnesses, but there is still an opportunity to escape. [5] Lebedev was changed the preventive measure because he gave the investigation the necessary evidence and made a deal. It is considered that it was Lebedev who was filming that meeting with Targamadze. [five]

On April 5, 2013 it became known that Konstantin Lebedev fully admitted his guilt, the case was sent to the court and will be considered in a special order. [6]

On April 8, 2013, a meeting of the Central Council of the Russian Socialist Movement was held , at which it was decided to exclude him from the organization, due to the fact that "information about the cooperation of Konstantin Lebedev with the investigation was confirmed." [7] Defendants Sergei Udaltsov and Leonid Razvozzhaev deny blame, they and their supporters have repeatedly said that they consider the act of Konstantin Lebedev a betrayal, and his testimony as a slander. [eight]

On April 25, 2013, the Moscow City Court sentenced him to 2.5 years in prison of the general regime colony Konstantin Lebedev, convicting him of organizing mass riots on Bolotnaya Square in the capital on May 6, 2012. He was taken into custody in the courtroom, as he was under house arrest at the investigation stage. [9] Lebedev was not transferred to a colony, as he must stand as a witness for the prosecution in the court case of the opposition members Sergei Udaltsov and Leonid Razvozzhaev, [10]

After serving the conclusion, Konstantin Lebedev was going to go on a trip to Latin America and, preparing for this, he intended to learn Spanish in the colony. [eleven]
