Geography

Located in the northern part of the Bykovsky district, in the west it is washed by the Volgograd reservoir .

The area of ​​the urban settlement is 11,918 hectares , of which 7933 hectares (as of 2008) are agricultural land and 875 hectares are occupied by buildings (as of 2008) [3] .

Borders:

  • in the south - with the Pobedinsky rural settlement ;
  • in the southeast - with the Aleksandrovsky rural settlement ;
  • in the north and southeast - with the Kislovsky rural settlement ;
  • in the west - with Kamyshinsky and Dubovsky districts [1] .
