Geography
The village of Dormidontovka is located 35 km north of the regional center of Vyazemsky , 75 km south-west of Khabarovsk . 3 km east of the village is the Ussuri highway . To the east of the intersection there is a road to the village of Kapitonovka .

History
110 years since the founding of the village of Dormidontovka, Vyazemsky District, Khabarovsk Territory (1900). The village was mainly settled by immigrants from Kiev, Kharkov, Volyn and other regions of Ukraine, Belarus, Russia and totaled 140 yards located on two streets. The settlement was named as a sign of respect to the engineer, construction manager of the northern section of the Ussuri railway N.F. Dormidontov. Today, 618 people live in the village. There is a club, a library, a first-aid post, a school, a kindergarten, an orphanage, and a village administration. [2]
