The island is located a few kilometers northwest of the Bungee peninsula. The name suggests that the island was formed by washing all the soil. Covered with sand, height up to 2 m. It has an irregular oval shape with a peninsula stretched to the north.
There is no permanent population on the island. According to the administrative-territorial division of Russia, the island is located on the territory of the Bulunsky region of Yakutia .
