Elkovo is a former village in the Khislavichi district of the Smolensk region of Russia . It is located on the lands of the modern Cherepovsky rural settlement. It was located 2-3 km northeast of the modern village of Khokhlovka , 15 km south of the town of Pochinok .

The directory of the administrative-territorial division of the Smolensk region notes the existence of the village until 1943. [1] .
