Gameplay

Story

The game takes place in the near future in a dilapidated city, where there is an uncompromising struggle for survival between people and all kinds of supernatural beings. The main character of NeverDead is an immortal hero who easily partes with parts of his own body, then just pick them up and attach them to their place. In addition, instead of a severed arm, it will be possible to install some kind of weapon - cold or firearms [3] [4] .

Characters

  • Bryce Boltzmann is a demon hunter who is doomed to be immortal five centuries ago thanks to Astaroth after he witnessed the brutal murder of his wife in the arms of the aforementioned demon king. Since then, he has become a disheveled, bitter alcoholic who preys on demons for money and revenge, often using his ability to lose and regain his limbs. Now in our time, he accompanies a woman of a private detective, Arkady [5] [6] [7] .
  • Arcadia Maximille ( born Arcadia Maximille ) - Bryce's partner. Cold, cold-blooded and methodical woman.
  • Astaroth ( Eng. Astaroth ) - the main antagonist of the game. Astaroth is the king of the demons who killed Bryce's wife. While Bryce was horrified by the killing, Astaroth gouged out one eye and cursed Bryce to be immortal. Astaroth is responsible for the demon invasion of the city.

Music for the game

The main soundtrack for the game was performed by the American thrash metal band Megadeth . [8]
