Biography

He was born on October 2 in 1924 in the village of Kuzeeva now in the Buzdyaksky district of Bashkiria [1] . After the dispossession of the family in 1931, he was assigned to an orphanage. In 1934, the family moved to Moscow. He studied at the comprehensive Tatar school number 16, after finishing 10 classes in 1942, he entered the Ufa Infantry School .

He graduated from the school on April 15, 1943, after which he was sent to the South-Western Front. He commanded a platoon of the 810th Infantry Regiment of the 394th Infantry Division. For crossing the Dnieper was awarded the Order of the Red Banner . In fights on the bridgehead he was seriously wounded. After the cure, he commanded a tank-landing company of the 96th tank brigade [2] .

 
 

For distinction in the Iasi-Chisinau operation, he was awarded the Order of the Red Star . In battles, he was seriously injured a second time. Lieutenant Chanyshev completed the combat journey in Bulgaria as an assistant chief of staff of a tank battalion.

In 1949 he graduated from the Red Banner Military Institute of Physical Culture. Lenin, served as the head of the physical training division, the 38th Army, as well as the Carpathian Military District.

Since 1962 - Deputy Head of the Central Army Sports Club in Moscow.

Since 1968 - Head of CSKA . Such well-known trainers as Anatoly Tarasov , Alexander Gomelsky , Vsevolod Bobrov , Valentin Nikolaev , Stanislav Zhuk , Shamil Tarpishchev , Nagim Khusnutdinov worked at that time under the leadership of Chanyshev.

Since 1971, First Deputy Chairman of the Sports Committee of the USSR Ministry of Defense.

In 1979, he was transferred to the reserve and acts as deputy head of the head of sports programs at the Olympics-80 .

Since 1982, he has been working in educational institutions on physical education issues (Moscow). Since 2000 - Deputy Director of the Center for Military-Patriotic and Civil Education of the Department of Education of Moscow .

From 1971 to 1983 - Chairman of the Fencing Federation of the USSR.

At various times, he was a member of the International Olympic Committee , and also served on the Presidium of the Sports Committee of the RSFSR.

Until 2016, retired colonel Chanyshev was deputy director of the Center for Military-Patriotic and Civil Education in Moscow, a member of the Council of National Cultural Autonomy of the Tatars of Moscow [3] . Since 2016, retired.

He died on April 27, 2017, in Moscow. Farewell and burial took place on May 2 at the Federal War Memorial Cemetery in Mytishchi [4] [5] .

Family

Anver Khaidarovich Chanyshev married for the second time to Lyudmila Yakovlevna Chanysheva. Son Chanyshev Timur Anverovich, works as a lawyer.
