It is located on the banks of the Plyuss River, 11 km east of the volost center of Lyady and 35 km north-west of the district center of Plyuss .

Historical Information
The first written mention of the village came to our time from the text of the scribe book of 7047 (1538/39) of the year , which are preserved in the form of a list of 1651 from the case of the Local Prikaz.
“In the Shelonsky Pyatina in the Lyatsky graveyard of the Ondreevsky village and the son of the Evo Ivan Oleshensky after Vasily Ivanov the son of Tushin.
Selzo Pochap, arable land 15 baskets in the field, and in two for the same, hay 200 kopecks, 3 obzhi.(Drv) Pochap, 5th round, hay 150 kopen. ”
