Trpine [1] ( Serbian. Trpīje ) is a settlement (village) in the community of Chayniche , which belongs to the Republic of Srpska , Bosnia and Herzegovina . According to the results of the Yugoslav census of 1991, 102 people lived in Trpin. The village of Trpine is located on the border with Montenegro .

History
On the morning of February 14, 1993, the Bosnian Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina attacked Trpine and its surroundings with a detachment of 500 people [2] . Bosnian troops entered unprotected areas with the active help of local Muslims, partly through the territory of Montenegro [3] . During the attack, the Bosnian troops committed a war crime, 24 civilians were tortured - all Serbs .
