Rice Eccles (Stadium)

Rice Eccles , a stadium located on the University of Utah campus in Salt Lake City , is the home arena of the university's American football team . Rice Eccles was the main stadium for the 2002 Winter Olympics , with opening and closing ceremonies. The stadium also hosted the 2002 Paralympic Winter Games and from 2005 to 2008 was the home arena of the MLS Real Salt Lake team.
