The village of the May 1 factory is a village in the Novomoskovsk administrative district of Moscow (until July 1, 2012 as part of the Podolsky district of the Moscow region ). It is part of the Ryazanovskoye settlement .

According to the All-Russian Census , in 2002, 3069 people lived in the village (1342 men and 1727 women) [4] ; the predominant nationality is Russians (91%).
Geography
The village of the May 1st factory is located on the right bank of the Desna River, about 7 km northwest of the center of Podolsk . The nearest rural settlements are the villages of Ryazanovo , Mostovskoye and Tarasovo .
Near the village there is a worsted spinning mill (now does not exist), which gave the village a name. In the village there is a monument to residents who died in the Great Patriotic War . There is a bus to the village from the Shcherbinka station of the Kursk direction of the Moscow Railway [5] .
History
In 1994-2006, the village of the May 1 factory was the center of the Ryazanovsky rural district .

The village is connected by transport with the railway station. Shcherbinka, railway station Podolsk and metro stations Dmitry Donskoy Boulevard, Annino, Academician Yangel Street.
