Jacobabad ( Urdu ضلع جیکب آباد , English Jacobabad District ) - one of the 23 districts of the Pakistani province of Sind . The administrative center is the city of Jacobabad .

Geography
The area of the district is 5,278 km². In the south it borders with the districts of Kambar-Shahdadkot , Larkana , and Shikarpur , in the west - with the district of Kashmor , in the north - with the territory of the province of Balochistan .
Administrative division
The district is divided into three technical forces :
- Garhi Khairo
- Jacobabad
- Thul
Population
According to the 1998 census , the district’s population was 1,425,572 people, of which 52.19% were men, 47.81% were women. The literacy rate of the population (10 years and older) was 23.7%. The level of urbanization is 24.37%. The average population density is 270.1 people / km².
