Geography
It is located 21 km southeast of Dmitrovsk and 2 km north of Zheleznogorsk , on the left bank of Rechitsa , almost at the very border with the Zheleznogorsk district of the Kursk region . To the north of the village is the tract Dolzhanka. Opposite Panshino, on the right bank of the Rechitsa, until 1976, the village of Kochki was located.
History
In 1926, there were 20 yards in the village, 137 people lived (71 men and 66 women). At that time, the village was part of the Dolbenki village council of the Dolbenka volost of Dmitrovsky district [3] . In 1937, there were 21 courtyards in the village [4] . During the Great Patriotic War, from October 1941 to 1943, Panshino was in the zone of Nazi occupation.
