It is located on the banks of the Zapadnaya Dvina River (on the border with the Tver Region ), 74 km southeast of the district center, the village of Kunya and 6 km northeast of the volost center, the village of Dolgovitsa .

Until 2005, the village was part of the now abolished Krestovsky volost.
