Career

Nejmi Onaryji is a graduate of the Kasympasha club. The football player spent the 1948/49 season for Fenerbahce , but soon returned to his home team. In 1952 he moved to Adalet, in 1955 he became a player of Vefa. The Turkish striker ended his career at Adalet in 1959.

In 1954, Sandro Puppo included Onaryji in the application of the Turkish team for the upcoming World Cup . At the tournament in Switzerland, the striker played the playoff match against Germany (the Turks lost 7: 2), which was held due to the equality of points for these teams in group 2 [1] . Also, according to the Turkish Football Federation, Nejmi participated in a meeting with South Korea [2] , but the FIFA website does not confirm this information [3] .
