In 2012, the tournament was held from June 17 to 23 . The competition concluded the European series of grass tournaments preparatory to Wimbledon .

Last year's winners:

  • in the men's singles - Russia Dmitry Tursunov
  • in the women's singles - Italy Robert Vinci
  • in the men's doubles - Italy Daniele Bracci and Czech Frantisek Chermak
  • in the women's doubles - Czech Barbora Zaglavova-Strytsova and Czech Klara Zakopalova

General Information

The first seeding number in the men's singles tournament was David Ferrer (No. 6 in the world at that time). The Spaniard confirmed his status and, losing only the set for the entire tournament, won his second title on local courts. His rival in the title match was Philipp Petschner , who began the competition with the qualifying tournament, and in the first round of the base he beat last year’s champion Dmitry Tursunov . Both finalists of the 2012 tournament on the way to the decisive meeting did not meet with seeded rivals.

The double prize went through a similar development of events: the first seeded pair - Robert Lindstedt and Horia Tekeu - in four matches, the competition never met the seeded rivals, and Dmitry Tursunov / Juan Sebastian Cabal won the alliance in the final. The Swedes and Romanians played in the final of the Dutch prize for the third year in a row, and their last year's offenders: Daniele Bracciali and Frantisek Cermak - did not defend their title, but the Czech took part in the competition (together with the Slovak Philip Polaszek ) and lost in the quarterfinals.

The first seeding number in the women's singles tournament was Samantha Stosur (No. 5 in the world at that time), but the Australian could not confirm her status, losing already at the start. In her absence, the title went to the eighth seeded: Nadezhda Petrova , who outplayed Ursula Radvanskaya in the finals, who began the competition with qualifications. Last year’s champion: Robert Vinci - defended her title, but lost in the quarterfinals.

The women's doubles tournament was reduced to the match of the first and second seeding pair, where a higher status alliance proved its advantage over a less rated team only on the decisive goals of the final tie-break. For Sarah Errani, this title was the second on the courts of Rosmalen : for the first time she won here in 2009. Last year’s champions - Barbora Zaglavova-Strytsova and Klara Zakopalova - did not defend their title, but Barbora took part in the tournament and, together with Dominika Tsibulkova , made it to the semifinals, where she lost to future winners.
