Geography

Located 54 km west of the district center - the village of Petropavlovka , on the right bank of the Dzhida river, in the intermontane valley of the Huldat river (Dzhida's right tributary) of the Dzhida ridge at the foot of the Argalik mountain, 13 km from the Mongolian border,

Neighboring settlements - Nizhny Torey , Shartyky , Naryn .

History

The history of the village begins in 1728 , when Cossacks settled in these places to protect the borders of the Russian Empire [2] . In 1838, there were 6 Cossacks in the Huldatsky guard.

The main families living in the village are the Tugarinovs, the Polyutovs, the Moskvitins, the Yakimovs, the Pereushinas, and others.
