Leonid Anatolievich Voloshin (b. March 30, 1966, Ordzhonikidze, RSFSR, USSR) - Russian athlete, long and triple jumper. Honored Master of Sports of the USSR , Honored Master of Sports of Russia . He participated in two Olympics (1988, 1992), silver medalist in the 1991 and 1993 world championships, 1990 European championships, and world and European champion halls.

Biography
He started athletics in Ordzhonikidze. He won the championship of the USSR among juniors. Since 1984, he served in the army for two years in Krasnodar , where he continued to engage in jumping under the leadership of Evgeny Martianov , speaking for the Krasnodar Dynamo [1] . At the Olympic Games in Seoul in 1988, he took 8th place in the long jump competition. Since 1990, he switched to a triple jump. At the Barcelona Olympics in 1992, he already participated in triple jump competitions, where he took 4th place.
He is the Russian record holder in long jump and triple indoor jump (former world record).
In 1994, he suffered an Achilles tendon injury , was treated for a long time, but was never able to return to big sport.
Currently lives in Krasnodar, is engaged in coaching.
