Since 1798, it was called the Middle Zeleinaya Street , according to the Zeleinaya Sloboda located here, in which the workers of the Zeleyny ( powder ) factory lived [1] .
The modern name has been known since 1836 in the form of Reznoy Lane No. 1 , the name arose as a result of a distortion of the name of the homeowner von Riesen. Since 1883, wears the modern form of writing Reznaya street . After renaming Reznoy Lane No. 1 to Reznaya Street, Reznoy Lane No. 2 became simply Reznoy Lane . [1] .
