Pavel Pavlovich Sinebryukhov ( Finnish. Paul Sinebrychoff ; April 14, 1859 , Helsingfors , Grand Duchy of Finland - November 19, 1917 , Helsingfors , Grand Duchy of Finland ) - Russian merchant, owner of the Finnish beer corporation Sinebrychoff and founder of the European painting collection of the Sinebryukhov Museum of Art .

Biography

Born on April 14, 1859 in Helsingfors, in the Grand Duchy of Finland, in the family of the merchant Pavel Petrovich Sinebryukhov . After the death of his father, he inherited the leadership of the brewing company Sinebrychoff .

In 1883, he married the Swedish theater actress Fanny Grahn ( Swede. Fanny Grahn ) with whom they collected a unique collection of European painting, graphics and sculpture.

He died on November 19, 1917 in Helsingfors and was buried in the Orthodox cemetery in the region . [one]

In 1921, the family house of the Sinebryukhov with a collection of paintings by testament was turned to the Sinebryukhov Art Museum . [2]
