The flag was approved by the decision of the Lebyazhyevsky District Duma of March 16, 2012 No. 214 [1] and on July 2, 2012 was entered into the State Heraldry Register of the Russian Federation with assignment of registration number 7771. The flag of the Lebyazhyevsky District was developed on the basis of the coat of arms of the Lebyazhyevsky District and reflects historical, economic and other local features.

Description

“A rectangular double-sided panel of blue color with a ratio of width to length 2: 3, surrounded on all sides by a narrow (1/10 of the width of the panel) strip of 4 equal alternating parts: from a yellow spike (starting from the middle of the edge of the pole) and green. In the middle of the cloth, a white swan floating on the waves, erected its wings with black eyes and a nose, and with a yellow beak. ”

Justification of Symbols

On the flag of the region, the swan clearly indicates the name of the district and its administrative center of the village (formerly the village) Lebyazhye associated with a large number of swans living along with other birds (ducks, geese, gulls) on the numerous lakes of the region. The swan is a symbol of fidelity and beauty.

A swan surrounded by a composite border is an allegory of the urban settlement of the village of Lebyazhye , which is part of the district. Border - an allegory of rural settlements of Lebyazhyevsky district.

The basis of the region’s economic development is agricultural production, symbolically represented on the district’s flag with a border of alternating green and gold fields strewn with grains - an allegory of land.

The blue color of the cloth is a symbol of numerous lakes, rivers and other water bodies of the Lebyazhyevsky district. Blue color (light blue ) is also a symbol of exalted aspirations, sincerity, devotion, rebirth.

Green color symbolizes spring, health, nature, youth and hope.

Yellow color ( gold ) is a symbol of harvest, wealth, stability, respect.

White color ( silver ) is a symbol of purity, openness, divine wisdom, reconciliation. [2] [3] .

History

The flag of the Lebyazhyevsky District was approved on March 16, 2012, at an extraordinary meeting of the Lebyazhyevsky District Duma. This was preceded by a long and painstaking work on the selection of the coat of arms and flag designs, among the options presented for the competition. The best, according to the selection committee, was the project of the teacher of the Lebyazhyev secondary school, Yevgeny Nikolayevich Nazarenko, which was the basis for the symbolism of the region approved by the Duma.

According to the competition committee and deputies, the approved coat of arms and flag of the Lebyazhyevsky district will be one of the most worthy of the symbols of municipalities of the Kurgan region [4] .
