Tarasov Municipality is a municipality with the status of a rural settlement in the Kazachinsko-Lensky district of the Irkutsk region of Russia. The administrative center is the village of Tarasovo .

By the law of Irkutsk region dated May 25, 2017 No. 32-OZ [3] on June 10, 2017, by combining them, the Tarasov municipality and the Ulkan municipality were transformed into the Ulkan city municipality .
