Career
Club
Mirotich began his professional career at the Spanish club Real Madrid in the 2008 season. In the Euroleague draw, 2010/2011 became one of the team’s most useful players, which earned him the title of Euroleague Rising Star [1] . In 2011, he signed a five-year extended contract with the club Real Madrid [2] .
June 23, 2011 was selected by the Houston Rockets team in the draft under the general 23rd number. The rights to the player were sold to the Minnesota Timberwolves , and then - to the Chicago Bulls [3] .
On July 18, 2014, Mirotich signed a three-year contract worth $ 16.6 million with the Chicago Bulls [4] [5] , but of this money he was forced to pay $ 3 million in compensation to Real Madrid [6] .
On December 19, 2014, Mirotich set a personal performance record by scoring 27 points in a game with Memphis Grizzlies [7] . On January 5, 2015, he was named the Rookie of the Month of the Eastern Conference [8] . On March 1, he again surpassed his personal performance record, gaining 29 points in a match against the Los Angeles Clippers [9] .
On February 7, 2019, he was traded to Milwaukee Bucks as part of a three-way deal involving Jason Smith , Stanley Johnson and Ton Maker . [ten]
International
Mirotich began to play for the Spanish national team from various youth teams. He helped the Spanish national team (under 20) to win the “bronze” at the European Championship for youth teams in 2010 and the “gold” at the 2011 championship. He was the top scorer of the tournament of 2011, gaining an average of 27 points and 10 rebounds per match. Also became an MVP tournament [11] . In 2015, he became the champion of Europe as part of the adult national team of Spain.
