Career

Club

Mirotich began his professional career at the Spanish club Real Madrid in the 2008 season. In the Euroleague draw, 2010/2011 became one of the team’s most useful players, which earned him the title of Euroleague Rising Star [1] . In 2011, he signed a five-year extended contract with the club Real Madrid [2] .

June 23, 2011 was selected by the Houston Rockets team in the draft under the general 23rd number. The rights to the player were sold to the Minnesota Timberwolves , and then - to the Chicago Bulls [3] .

On July 18, 2014, Mirotich signed a three-year contract worth $ 16.6 million with the Chicago Bulls [4] [5] , but of this money he was forced to pay $ 3 million in compensation to Real Madrid [6] .

On December 19, 2014, Mirotich set a personal performance record by scoring 27 points in a game with Memphis Grizzlies [7] .
