Monuments of history and culture

The role of forests in the ecosystem
The forest has a positive impact on the ecology of Moscow and the Moscow region. The Lipka and Voroniy Brod rivers are tributaries of the first order of the Moscow River and flow into it above the Rublevsky water intake . The Opalikhovsky forest is a natural air-purifying filter for the city of Moscow, due to the prevailing north-west direction of winds in our region.
Felling and construction
At present, the Region has a “Moscow Region Spatial Plan Scheme — Basic Provisions for Urban Development” (approved by Decree of the Government of the Moscow Region dated July 11, 2007 No. 517/23). In the “Scheme.” In the section “List of planned specially protected natural territories of regional significance” there is clause 2.4.3 “Planned natural ecological territories”, sub-item “Other key natural territories (CBT)”). According to this document, the CBT includes territories where there are "plant species listed in the Red Book of the Moscow Region." According to the "Scheme ...", "... in the natural ecological and natural-historical territories stand out ... territories of the natural ecological framework, natural-landscape and architectural-landscape complexes. The generalizing characteristics of activities in these territories are: conservation, rehabilitation, restoration, restoration ”. Opalikhovsky forest fits all these restrictions.
Highway Construction
It is planned to lay a highway - connecting Novorizhskoye Highway , Volokolamskoye Highway and further to Pyatnitskoye Highway - an 8-lane motorway, which is located and cuts through the entire Opalikhovo forestry and passes through its central part, as well as through key natural areas - the ecological framework “Moscow Territorial Planning Scheme regions .... "for 2007
Such a location of the highway will certainly lead to degradation and death of the main and most valuable part of the Opalikhovsky forestry. This project, according to the head of the Krasnogorsk administration B.E. Rasskazov, is being approved by the forestry department. The local population opposed such barbaric plans of the administration and collected more than 1,500 signatures in defense of the Opalikhovsky forest park, and also sent letters to various road and architectural institutions, the Federal Forestry Agency and the Moscow Forestry Agency with proposals on alternative options for placing this highway less damaging to the natural complexes of our forests and alternative unloading solutions Volokolamsk highway in the city of Krasnogorsk [1] .
Construction of the Riga Quarter
The construction of an elite village around Lake Forest. The lake is located west of the Opaliha microdistrict near the Volokolamsk highway , next to the Anikeevka platform of the Riga direction.
According to the representative of Voskhod Development Krasnogorsk LLC, this site is not included in any protection zones, including water protection strips, coastal protection zones. However, the maps show that this territory is the territory of the State Forest Fund [2] .
Felling for a recreational area
Allocated 20 hectares of forest near the village of Nikolo-Uryupino for the creation of a recreation zone. At the moment, active cutting of clearings is underway.
An isolated forest area of 8 hectares, according to ecologists [ whom? ] , will degrade and die out over the next five years. The initiative group “For the Protection of the Opalikhovsky Forest” is conducting an active campaign to save the forest park [3] .
