Geography

It is located 1.5 km south of Dmitrovsk on both banks of the Strashnovsky stream, in the old days called Nedomytsky Well [2] .

History

Mentioned from the 1st half of the 17th century among the villages of the Radogozhsky camp of the Komaritsky volost [3] . According to 1649, the village of Vertyakino, which consisted of 20 yards, was assigned to the Morevsky prison. Local residents could take refuge in this fortress during the raids of the Crimean Tatars, and also had to maintain it in a defensive state [4] . As in other villages of the Komaritsky volost, until the beginning of the 18th century, local residents were palace peasants . In 1711, Vertyakino is part of the estate of the Moldavian prince Dmitry Cantemir , granted to him by Peter I. Thus, the locals are one and a half centuries in serfdom.

Since 1782, in Dmitrovsky district (as part of the Baldyzhsky volost ).

In 1860, the landowner Anna Alexandrovna Mikulshina owned the village. She owned 50 yards, in which 134 peasants and 118 male yards lived. Of the courtyards, 2 coachmen and 1 cook received maintenance, while the rest received farmstead, arable and hayfields and carried out master work on a par with the peasants. At the village there were 500 acres of arable land, part of which was used for haying. Hay poured 150 pounds per tax [5] .

In 1866, there were 41 yards in the former owner's village of Vertyakino, 472 people lived (223 males and 249 females), an oil mill operated. The road from Dmitrovsk to the settlement Mikhailovka passed through the village [6] . In 1897, 441 people lived in Vertyakino (204 males and 237 females) [7] .

At the beginning of the 20th century, Vertyakino was already listed as part of the Solominsky volost of Dmitrovsky district. Before the October Revolution of 1917, the population of the village was assigned to the Trinity Cathedral of the city ​​of Dmitrovsk [8] .

In 1926 there were 74 yards in the village, 316 people lived (140 males and 176 females). At that time, Vertyakino was the administrative center of the Gorbunovsky village council of the Lubyanka volost of Dmitrovsky district [10] . Since 1928, as part of the Dmitrov district . In 1937, there were 66 courtyards in Vertyakino [11] . During the Great Patriotic War, from October 1941 to August 1943, it was in the zone of Nazi occupation. As of 1945, the collective farm “Drummer” was operating in the village [2] .
