Club career
Lokadia was born in a family of immigrants from Curacao in the city of Emmen . He began his career at the football school of the Bargeres club. In 2001, he was invited to the youth team of the local football club " Emmen " [2] . After this, Jurgen played for six months for the amateur club RKSV Sarto, part of the 2009/10 season for the team of young men Valveika . In 2010, he was invited to the PSV youth team, with which he signed his first professional contract until 2012 [3] [4] .
On September 21, 2011 in the match of the Netherlands Cup against the Air Force, Lokadia made his debut for the PSV main team, replacing Tim Matawz in the 71st minute [5] . In the same match, he scored his first goal for PSV. On September 30, Jurgen made a hat-trick in his debut match in Eredivisi against VVV-Venlo [6] . The last time a newcomer scored three goals in one match in 1969 was done by Harald Berg in his debut match for ADO Den Haag against Twente [7] . On October 5, 2012, the contract with Lokadia was revised and extended under improved conditions until 2017 [8] .
On February 27, 2013, in the match of the Netherlands Cup against Zwolle , Lokadia made a hat-trick and helped his team achieve a major victory [9] . In 2015, Jürgen won the championship and became the owner of the Dutch Super Cup in the PSV. On November 3, in the Champions League match against the German Wolfsburg , Lokadia scored a goal [10] . On September 24, 2017, he played poker in a match against Utrecht [11] .
On January 19, 2018, Lokadia moved to the English club Brighton and Hove Albion , signing a contract until the summer of 2022 [12] . On February 24, in his match against Swansea City , he made his debut in the English Premier League. [13] In the same match, Jürgen scored his first goal for Brighton and Hove Albion.
International Career
Since 2009, coaches of the Netherlands youth teams began to attract Lokadia to the games for the national team of various ages.
