Ivanov, Igor Vladimirovich (singer)

Born in Moscow. From a young age he was fond of music, was a member of the school choir, played the guitar, performed in the amateur vocal and instrumental ensemble "Rainbow", in the VIA at the Estrada Theater. Subsequently, Igor worked at MOMA, at the invitation of Alexander Pulver was invited to the Moscow Concert, where he worked in the ensemble "Express".

In 1975, he, the soloist of the group “ Leysya, song ”, performed the song “ Farewell ” which later became a hit (now better known by Lev Leshchenko ). The memorable voice of the singer attracted the attention of David Tukhmanov , who invited Ivanov to record the disc “ On the Wave of My Memory ”. The song " From the Vagantas " ("Student's Song") quickly gained popularity.

In the mid-80s, he was a participant and presenter of the popular television program "The wider circle."

In 1981, the singer began to work in Rosconcert in the VIA Salut created by him, later the X band, he toured a lot.

In 1981, Ivanov’s first solo minion was released, which included songs such as: “Love must be protected”, “Love is leaving”, “Nothing more,” “I remember everything.”

In 1983, according to a survey by Smena magazine, Igor Ivanov was included in the list of the country's most popular performers.

At the turn of the century, Igor takes part in international festivals: “Slavic Bazaar” and “Golden Fortune”, where at the last Igor Ivanov is awarded the Laureate Diploma in the nomination “For Contribution to the Development of Song Art”.

After the collapse of the USSR, he began to appear less and less on television and radio, in major concerts. However, this did not stop Ivanov from touring the world.

In 1999, he took part in the Two Pianos program.

In 2003, the anniversary concert of Igor Ivanov in the Kremlin took place.

In 2008, Ivanov was awarded the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation “For High Achievements”. In 2009, the singer released a disc called "Kiss Spring". In 2014, on behalf of the President, the Minister of Culture handed over state awards to cultural and art workers, among them was Igor Ivanov.

He performed at the music festival “My Address is the Soviet Union”.

Today Igor Ivanov continues to tour and give concerts.
