It is located in the northern part of the district, 10 km north-east of the regional center, the city of Dno , on the railway Dno - Soltsy - St. Petersburg ( stopping point 238 km ). [one]

The population of the village in 2000 was 81 people [2] , in 2010 - 47 people.
History
Until 2005, it was part of the now abolished Zamos volost (centered in the village of Lukomo ).
