Lucas Robin "Luke" Ridnour ( born Lucas Robin "Luke" Ridnour ; born February 13, 1981 , Ker-d'Alene , Idaho ) is an American professional basketball player who played at the National Basketball Association . He played as a point guard . He was selected by the 2003 NBA draft in the 1st round under the overall 14th number by the Seattle Supersonics team.

School and College

Luke is the son of Rob Ridnour, a former school-level basketball coach, as well as the Bellingham Slam International Basketball League team. When Luke was in school, he could take the keys to the gym and train there at night. He was part of the Blaine school basketball team, in 2000 he was included in the national team according to MacDonald and the Alumni Parade.

Ridnur entered Oregon State University , where his teammate was Luke Jackson. Twice with the Dax team, he played in the NCAA Championship . In 2002, the team managed to get into the top eight. Set a college record for the number of assists per season (218), as well as a conference record for the number of exact free throws in a row (62). On average, Luke scored 19.7 points and gave 6.6 assists per game. In his second year in Oregon, Ridnur was named Player of the Year of the Pacific Conference (Pac-10).

Seattle Supersonics

Luke was drafted under the 14th NBA Draft No. 2003 by the Seattle Supersonics team. Despite his debut season in the NBA, Luke acted as the main point guard for the team in the 2004-05 season. He took part in the 2005 All-Star Game, playing in the Beginners' Match and the Talent Competition.

Milwaukee Bucks

On August 13, 2008, it was included in a deal between three teams (Sonic, which became known as the Oklahoma City Thunder , Milwaukee Bucks , and Cleveland Cavaliers ), in which six players participated.
