It is located in the southern part of the district, on the right bank of the Sudoma River , 22 km southwest of the district center, the village of Dedovichi , 10 km south of the volost center, the village of Pozherevitsa , and 6 km north of the former volcenter, the village of Sorokino .

Until June 3, 2010, the village was part of the now abolished Sorokinsky volost of the Dedovichi district.
