Biography
Born on January 6, 1892 in the Urals in the village of Titkovo, near the village of Pozhva, Usolsky Uyezd , son of a peasant. He graduated from the two-year school in Pozhva. From a young age, he worked as a blacksmith at the Elizabeth-Pozhvinsky Mechanical Plant . Later, parents moved to Vyatka [1] .
In the Russian Imperial Navy
Drafted for military service in the Navy in Kronstadt . Sailor. In 1913 he was transferred from the Baltic Fleet to the Black Sea to a school of steering diving. Was in the crew of the submarine "Sudak" built in 1907, which was based in Balaklava [3] .
In revolutionary authorities
After the establishment of Soviet power in the city, on December 18, 1917, he headed the Balaclava revolutionary committee, in January 1918, the committee of the RSDLP (b) , then the Council of military, workers and peasant deputies of Balaklava. He became seriously ill. In the summer and autumn of 1918, he visited his homeland, in the Usolsky Uyezd , for amendment, and became a member of the Pozhvinsky volost executive committee. He contributed to the nationalization of the plants of Prince S.E. Lvov , organized a detachment of the Red Guard. From the Usolsky Uyezd I. Nazukin is elected as a deputy of the VI All-Russian Congress of Soviets on November 6 - 9, 1918 . He became a member of the All-Russian Central Executive Committee of the RSFSR [1] . After the occupation of the city by the Kaiser troops in the spring of 1918, he headed underground work in Balaklava. With the liberation of the peninsula in 1919, he worked in the Crimean workers 'and peasants' government of the KRSSR , headed by D.I. Ulyanov , was the People's Commissar of Education (April-June 1919). With the future Stalin Prize laureate , writer K. A. Trenev - at that moment they organized schools and selected teachers as the head of the school department of the commissariat. The issue of resuming the work of the university in Simferopol was discussed [4] .
Going underground and dying
In the summer of 1919, when the Volunteer Army of Denikin entered the Crimea, he led underground work in Feodosia as chairman of the Theodosian Revolutionary Committee, and was preparing an armed rebellion. Officially works as a clerk in the board of the Union of Metalworkers under the name of Alexei Alekseevich Andreev. With his participation, party groups and combat detachments are being created at the Sarygol station, in the Feodosiya port and at the Lyatsky mill. Underground workers conducted reconnaissance work, carried out several major sabotage behind enemy lines. An experienced organizer, I. A. Nazukin devoted much time to campaigning among the soldiers of the Denikin army. The soldiers of some parts of the garrison were to play a decisive role in the armed uprising against the White Guards. It was supposed to disarm the garrison and, having captured Theodosius, create an attack detachment to enter the compound with the Red Army in the area of the Arabat arrow . Red at that time failed to enter the Crimea through Perekop and Sivash because of the mobile defense of General Ya. A. Slashchev . According to information received from the Denikin agent introduced into the organization, Nazukin was arrested by counterintelligence of the All-Union Socialist Republic of Ukraine and on the night of February 24, 1920 (according to the grave on March 6) he was shot among 28 other underground members [2] .
He was buried in a mass grave at the Old Cemetery in Feodosia [5] .
In Culture
- In the famous play by K. A. Trenev, “ Love of Spring ” (1926), the prototype of one of the main characters, Commissioner Koshkin, is the sailor from the submarine Sudak, the Bolshevik Ivan Andreevich Nazukin [4] .
- According to one version, the poem by M. A. Voloshin “Sailor” is dedicated to I. A. Nazukin [6] .
Memory
- In his homeland there was a biography of Semin G.I. Hero of the Civil War Ivan Nazukin (series Remarkable people of the Kama region) Perm: Prince. Publishing House, 1962. - 61 p. [one]
- In honor of I. Nazukin, the main promenade in Balaklava is named, there is a memorable bas-relief [7] .
- In Feodosia, a monument to I. Nazukin was erected; the author of the project was sculptor V. Petrenko. The grand opening of the monument took place on December 16, 1980, on the day of the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the victory of the Red Army in the Crimea over the forces of the White Guards. This monument was erected at the same place where before the October Revolution of 1917 there was a monument to Alexander the Third . Made of diorite from the southern coast of Crimea [4] .
- The monument to I. Nazukin was erected at the place of his burial in the mass grave of the Old Cemetery of Feodosia .
- The monument to I. Nazukin, sculptor A. S. Starkov, is installed in the courtyard of secondary school No. 1 of the village of Pozhva .
