Attack
On August 21, 2008, suicide bombers detonated body-mounted explosive devices at the gates of an ammunition factory, just at the time the company’s employees went to work. As a result of the attack, 70 people died, about 80 were injured of varying severity. The responsibility for the attack was claimed by the radical Sunni group Tehrik Taliban-i-Pakistan .
