Rejepov, Berdymurad Rejepovich

Berdimurad Rejepovich Rejepov ( Turkmen. Berdimyrat Rejepowiç Rejepow ; February 5, 1957 , village Guynuk ) - Turkmen politician, diplomat. In 2012-2016 He was Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Russian Federation, Bulgaria, Spain, Slovenia and Serbia concurrently [1] . In the past, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan , Head of the Turkmen Railways , Chairman of the Turkmennebitgaz Corporation. He was in the position of the khyakim of the Lebap province and Ashgabat .

Biography

Born on February 5, 1957 in the village of Guynuk, etrap Galkynysh, Lebap province of Turkmenistan.

In 1981 he graduated from the Kiev Trade and Economic Institute with a degree in economics .

From 1981 to 1982, he worked as a junior researcher at the Turkmen branch of the All-Union Scientific Research Institute for the study of population demand for consumer goods and the conjuncture of trade of the USSR Ministry of Trade.

In 1983-1989 he worked in the system of the Ashgabat Executive Committee of People’s Deputies as head of the department, deputy head of the district executive committee.

From 1989 to 1992 - head of departments and offices in the system of the Ministry of Trade and Consumer Cooperation of Turkmenistan.

In 1992-1996, he held the post of First Deputy Minister of Trade and Resources of Turkmenistan.

From 1996 to 1997 - Chairman of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.

1997-2000 - Minister of State - Chairman of the State Trading Corporation Turkmennebitgaz.

In 2000-2001 he was the khyakim of the Lebap province [2] .

From 2001 to 2003, he served as Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan [3] , combining this work with the rector of the Turkmen State Institute of Communications and Transport, the khyakim of Ashkhabad [4] and the head of the Turkmen Railways [5] .

From September 2003 to April 2012 - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Germany [6] [7] .

Since May 2012 - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Russian Federation [8] , since August 2012 in Bulgaria [9] , since July 2013 in Spain [10] concurrently, since March 2014 in Slovenia [11] .

Personal life

Married, has three children.
