Lostun is a mountain in the Ukrainian Carpathians , in the Chivchinsky mountains ( Marmarosh massif ). It is located within the Verkhovyna district of the Ivano-Frankivsk region , southeast of the village of Burkut .

Height 1653.5 m (according to other sources - 1654 m). The foot and slopes of the mountains are covered with forests, the peak is uninhabited, with meadows. The slopes are steep, especially the western slope.
To the southwest is the highest peak of the Chivchinsky mountains - Chivchin (1766 m), to the south - Maly Lostun (1594.7 m). Not far from the mountain (at the southwestern slope) is the Ukrainian-Romanian border.
To the north of Lostun is a hydrological attraction of nature - the Hanging Swamp .
