The Cesar Award for Best Film from the European Union ( French: César du meilleur film de l'Union européenne ) was awarded from 2003 to 2005 .
The prize was awarded three times, then it was canceled.
The award ceremony takes place annually in February (previously, awards also took place in January, March and April) at the Chatelet Theater in Paris (since 2002). Prizes are awarded for films of the previous year.
