Policy
In the presidential election of 2012, residents of the canton gave Francois Hollande 33.0% of votes in the 1st round against 22.8% from Nicolas Sarkozy and 17.6% from Marine Le Pen , in the 2nd round in the canton defeated Hollande, who received 59.1% of the vote (2007 Round 1: Segolen Royal - 29.4%, Sarkozy - 27.6%; Round 2: Royal - 54.4%). In the elections to the National Assembly in 2012 in the 2nd electoral district of the Somme department, they supported the Green Party candidate Barbara Pompili , who collected 35.4% of the votes in the 1st round and 54.0% in the 2nd round. In the regional elections of 2010 in the 1st round, the list of socialists won, collecting 25.0% of the votes against 24.8% of the list of the "right". In the 2nd round, the “left list” with the participation of the socialists and the “greens” headed by the President of the Regional Council of Picardy Claude Zheverkom received 54.0% of the votes, the “right” list headed by the Mayor of Bové Karolin Kayo took second place with 31.4 %, and the National Front finished 14.6% third.
